VELOCITY 17 NOW OPEN!

Velocity 17 is opening its doors this weekend. V-17 is a 100,000 sq ft venue offering an unrivalled karting experience, a “has to be seen to be believed” F-18 fighter jet flight simulator room, and a V-Racing virtual racing room where you can race exotic high performance cars against your friends.

The spaghetti-style Grand Prix track is 2,000 foot long, containing 4 banked turns and one banked straightaway and is the only indoor track of its kind in the world. Race commentary and a spectacular light show and sound system add to your adrenaline rush. The fleet of 72 Bowman electric karts have an amazing turn of speed, and your personal lap time is recorded by the state of the art Formula SuperSport timing system. Large plasma screens in the stunning viewing areas enable spectators to keep up with the racing in luxury while enjoying refreshments from Velocity Café.

In the F-18 flight combat center you can climb into an F-18 cockpit, put on a real fighter pilot’s helmet, and fly air combat. This is the only Air Combat Center in the world with 8 flight simulators, 4 of which can be networked together so you can beat your friends to become Top Gun! Nowhere else can offer you this experience.

The Velocity Café provides great food to fuel your adrenaline rush, with fresh pizza hot from the oven, tasty pasta dishes, and freshly made pastries, gelato and coffee.  Come, watch, play and race!!!
